Bisbeef

Privacy policy

This document explains what personal information the website collects, why, where it is kept and what your rights are. The website is operated by "Bisbeef", which is responsible for the information.

1. What we collect

  • When you order: name, mobile phone, delivery address (street, number, entrance, floor, apartment and notes for the courier), and email if you chose to give it.
  • Order details: the dishes, extras, notes, how you receive the order and how you pay.
  • When you open an account: name, phone, email if given, password (stored only encrypted; nobody can read it), your last delivery address and your order history.
  • When you sign in with Google: we receive only your name, email address and account ID from Google. We never get your Google password or access to anything else in your account.
  • Card payments: card details are entered on the payment provider's secure page; they never pass through our website and are not stored by us.
  • Basic technical information logged automatically by the servers for operation and security (such as IP address and browser type).

A name, phone and address are needed to place an order. Giving an email and opening an account are optional.

2. How we use it

  • To prepare your order, deliver it or have it ready for pickup, and to contact you about it.
  • To send emails about your order: confirmation and status updates, plus welcome and password reset emails.
  • To check your address and calculate the delivery fee.
  • For customer service, coupons, preventing misuse, and meeting legal requirements (including tax records).

We don't send marketing emails and we never sell or rent personal information to anyone.

3. Where it is kept

We use outside providers, who receive only the information needed for their service:

  • Supabase: the database of orders and accounts (servers in Europe).
  • Vercel: website hosting (servers in Europe).
  • Resend: sending the website's emails (servers in Europe).
  • Google Maps: address suggestions, address checks and distance calculation.
  • The payment provider (HYP): processing card payments.
  • The courier: name, phone and address, to deliver the order.

We don't sell, rent or pass your details to anyone other than these, and we don't use them for anyone else's marketing. We may share information with an authority if required by law.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use third-party advertising cookies. It only uses what it needs to work:

  • A cookie that remembers that you are logged in.
  • If you arrived through one of our ad links or QR codes: a cookie that remembers which ad brought you, for 30 days, so we know which ads work. If you place an order, the name of the ad is recorded with it. This information stays with us.
  • Browser storage for your cart, delivery choice, address and the accessibility preferences you chose.

You can delete these in your browser settings; your cart and preferences will be reset.

5. How long we keep it

Order details are kept as long as needed for operation and service, and for the period the law requires (including tax and bookkeeping rules). An account is kept until you ask us to delete it.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information: connections to the website are encrypted, access is limited to the business's staff, and passwords are stored only encrypted. Still, complete protection against intrusion can't be guaranteed.

7. Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may see the information kept about you, ask to correct it, and ask to delete your account and information we are not required to keep. To ask: b0772049300@gmail.com or 0772049300.

8. Changes

We'll update this document when the way we work changes. The version published on the website is the one that applies.
